Know your fade
Where the fade starts changes the whole cut. Here's what to ask for.
Taper
Only the edges. The neckline and sideburns are blended short, and everything else keeps its length. The most subtle option.
Low fade
Starts just above the ear and keeps weight on the sides. Clean without being too sharp.
Mid fade
Starts around the middle of the sides, between the ear and the temple. The everyday all-rounder.
High fade
Starts up near the temple, for the strongest contrast with the length on top.
